After i left Japan, i didnt at all feel sad at what was coming in the future. I knew one day i would go back and this feeling never made me emotional about leaving Japan.
Arriving at Singapore on the 3rd Oct, i didnt have a clue about the people of Singapore, the culture, food or anything. I knew that they had gained independence from Malaysia in the past, so i had gathered that it must be a mixed country. And indeed it was, there were Malays, Chinese, South Indians and of course other races but the latter three dominating.
It was cheap to Japan standards and i enjoyed meeting and talking with many people there, mostly Nepali's, who i'd communicate with in English first and switch to Urdu later. I found these people the most friendliest, even before i spoke to them in Urdu. I enjoyed conversations with them very much. They are hard-working people, often working 10-12 hours. I thanked them for their hard work.
After a stay of 2 days, i headed off to Malaysia by bus from Singapore.
Alone, determined and excited.
